I am replacing the floor in my 14' Smokercraft. How do I cut the "arc" for the bow section? The stern is obviously easier. Can I somehow make a template? Struggling with this.

Thanks for your help.

use two peices of cardboard 1 for each side and scribe them one a protractor, then fasten them togather with a staple at the bow and use as a pattern

Use a String to find a Center Line.......
Measure to each side, at known intervals,+ Lay it out......Dot to Dot.........

Make a Pattern out of Cardboard, Do a Test Fit,+ Transfer it to your Wood...........

Throw it In,+ See If you got it Right.......

Just Remember, If you cut it Too Big,.. You can Trim it..........
If you cut it Too Small,...................

Re: Floor Replacement Help

do like LAD says.. it's a good method..

probably wont fit exactly the first time..

see, you'll have to cut the plywood on an 'angle-cut' as so to it lay right as per side 'angle flair'...understand..??

but remember,, little bit more cutting or sanding the wood off goes along-along way..

it's so easy to get way off..take your time an alittle at a time..
