With the flooding that occurs, !

this is the one thing that will ruin the trip, if you guys pick a place on the Suwanee or Santa Fe rivers, we definitely need a back up or plan B and someone to watch the river height as the time for the Get Together nears...just my .02

We did get a lot of flooding this year, and right now, the rivers are up some. So chances are, next year, there will be none. Usually floods about every 3-4 years, or more. Most of the flooding is caused by rain up in Georgia.

Anything is possible with the screwy weather we have been having.

Another good place might be Elie Ray's Campground on the Santa Fe river. It is about a mile or so from the Suwanee confluence. Nice place and a nice mooring dock for guests at the campground. They also have a bar/restaurant there too. But, it is in the middle of nowhere. A great area to boat in.

I mentioned Ellie rays in an earlier post it would be great except for the people who have to do the hotel thing. Not too many in Branford.
