Flotation Pods on Fiberglass Boat?

I am looking at getting a little more rear flotation at rest on my 19' center console boat. I know Armstrong brackets will do this for me but I am not sure I want to spend that kind of cash. I know Beavertail and SeaArk make aluminum pods for aluminum boats. Beavertail has them for $399.99 for the large set. Will these work on my deep V fiberglass center console? Any problems that I may run into? I included a pic of the dimensions of the Beavertail pods. Any info is appreciated, thanks for the help.

Re: Flotation Pods on Fiberglass Boat?

I emailed Beavertail to see if they have done this before. They said the pods work fine on fiberglass boats, they have bolt on instructions on their website. It looks pretty straight forward. They look like they will work great for $399.99. Any other opinions on this would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

They will probably act like trim tabs. Wonder how they will respond to your triming of the outboard.

Pretty nice build, looks real clean. I am not much of a wood worker or glass guy or I might attempt. I think the pods will act a little like trim tabs as well which is also a plus. I run in pretty hard seas for extended periods so I don't think I could trust something I built personally, but again im on craftsman.
