Guys
reading the forums on the Lark it appears that these engines do not like being flushed with muffs, has any one made up a mod so the engine can be flushed using a hose fitting like some of the later models?

Best to simply purchase a good size plastic trash can and go from there.

I think the name of the company in years past was "Tempco" or something like that that used to make clamp on flushettes for the older specific models but that was back when the engine were new. However I haven't heard anything of them in years.

You can still pick up the tempco flusheta on ebay from time to time, you need model 917 , also honda makes a flusher that will do I think it is called the honda big tooth or big mouth, they sell them on amazon.com for around $15.00

The company is Tempo. Very hard to find! I have been looking for one for years, lol. See them on ebay, AFTER they have been bought.

I think this one is F_Rs, but I doubt he will sell it to ya

doubt it would be hard to make one. 3" copper pipe sliced open, formed to fit the water inlet but leave a small amount round so it can be Reduced in size down to 3/4" for a garden hose fitting.. It would just need some solder to seal it up.. Could do it another way and solder/ braze some 16ga copper sheeting to a 3/4" copper pipe so you get the 'flaps'. Drill holes in it and call it done..

I have the whole set for OMC motors from "the day", but nope, they aren't for sale.
