hey guys! the current project has sat for some time, maybe 9 years in the HOT So. Cal. sun. 1 tank has about 3 gallons of goo in it, the other is dry. The goo tank had 5 gallons installed 5 years ago. The merc 225 was run for 2 hours, on the muffs at that time. The tanks are Almuinum, the lines appear to be copper.<br />BELIEVE this!! with a prime it started and ran!! it actually idled. Then gas/goo started bubbling out the carb vent, ha ha! I gotta clean the varnish out of the tanks and lines. A chemical solution is what I am looking for. Ideas ?? The carb is soaking up some carb cleaner and the new exhaust logs and risers are being put on after I post this. The manuals (2) are in the mail. We unplugged the TV a year and half ago. I read this forum like it's a GOOD book, even at 4am while I am drinking my coffee. <br />I did search this BTW. thanks in advance.
