Does anybody get the impression the Eagles are on a mission to prove last week was an aberration?

I wasn't intending this to be a brag. I was pointing out that the Eagles don't look like they intend to play down to the level of their competition as they have done many times in the past.

On the other hand, could todays game be the aberration?

Flahthead,

Sellersville in Bucks Co.

You are a customer of mine on the electric utility for whom I am a dispatcher. Give me a nearby intersection and I'll do what I can to help you out next time you have an outage.

Hey noodles you are pretty close by. I am very familiar with sellersville. Pass through occasionally on my way to fish Nockamixon. Also get dinner at the White Horse every now and again, I hear it is under new ownership now. Back in the day we used to hit the power house and down a few cold ones.

I guess Henning road and Snyder would be a close intersection. We dont worry too much about the power outages. We have a decent generator to keep us going.

Fact is once again the Eagles "should" get to the NFC championship game.......but if Carolina is the team that showed up against NE and not the team that showed up against NO.....then the Eagles won't be able to match up against that type of physical defense.

Too much parody this year to say anything definate. GB and Minn are both 0-2 and I think one of the two will be NFC North champs once again.

FH,

Never been to the White Horse. The Power House is some "upscale" joint now called JT Bankers. Phooey!

You are nearly in Green Lane Reservoir. I know it sucks to rent the boats there but do you ever fish it? I used to and I've seen some HUGE muskies taken.

Re: Fly, Eagles, fly...

Noodles, I fish Green lane regularly. I have A little twelve footer I keep at the launch at Walt road. It is true that there are some big fish in the place. I have had many days when I catch multible bass over five pounds. The musky population has dwindled in recent years at The RES. But Nockamixon has been picking up in the Musky department thanks to local chapter 50, musky club. If your interested in the area fishing check this place out, I am the lone moderator along with the site owner, a great bunch of anglers there. .

http://www.just4thought.com/SMF/index.php

So the power house is now a swanky joint?!? Bummer.

Hi FH,

Thanks for the link. I registered as Professor if you want to answer any questions I have there.

It's nice to hear that Green Lane still produces. I was worried when they started quarantining boats due to the zebra mussel problem. I may go back again but I hate to rent their boats and don't want to leave my canoe indefinitely.

I'm gonna concentrate on learning to fish for hybrid stripers on Nockamixon this fall. You're welcome to go along sometime if you'd like. Just let me know if you're interested.
