Hey thanks I appreciate all the input I can get. I found the head torque specs for a 1965 model while browsing the forum. They said it was between 168-192 inch pounds. I am assuming it will be the same for mine but there is a couple of mechanics where I get my parts and I will probably ask them they seem fairly friendly down there as long as I'm buying parts there. A little bit pricier than getting them off the internet but not much and I like keeping mom and pop business around.Maybe I'll get time to go to the library and look in their book I'm pretty sure some of this information was in there and I'm going to replace the water jacket as well so I'll want to know those too.
