Had to replace the trigger and the stator on this motor to find out the switch boxes were bad. I took the eight bolts out of the top of the fly wheel hub and did not mark the fly wheel to the original position. The hub for the fly wheel is keyed so the timing did not change for the trigger. My problem is the fly wheel will bolt down eight different ways, How can I get the fly wheel back to orginal position to bolt it down, I can't find any markings on it other that the degrees around the side of it. I don't know where to set the position of the keyway to reference the fly wheel. Need some help with this one guys.
I was told if it were out one bolt hole one way or the other could throw it out of time.

I must be getting old, I can't believe I didn't mark it.........LOL.........

Put a screwdriver down #1 cyl and roll it to TDC then line up the flywheel timing marks with TDC and reinstall the bolts with a little blue loctite.
