Flywheel/Coupling studs substitute or source?

So I made the mistake of not using loctite on the flywheel/coupling studs when I put my new 5.7 vortec in, and 3 of the bolts backed out and sheared the other 3. I found the stud kit online, but it appears to be out of stock everywhere or on backorder. Can I use some grade 8 or ARP bolts instead? I am trying to get back on the water by this weekend but can't find anywhere that I can next-day the studs.

Thanks in advance

Why wheel studs are a special alloy, a standard grade 8 would not suffice.

Also, straight both will not make it into the coupler and in through the flywheel into the crank. You do need to have studs

Ok, I found some studs online and just got them in. Does the short thread side go in the crank, and the long side go towards the flywheel/coupler I assume?

Fine thread in crank
course thread out
Make sure to use a torque wrench
