flywheel/crankshaft play on 9.8 merc

hey guys, i was just wondering if it was common for a flywheel to have roughly an 1/8th of an inch play to it like able to move it back and fourth, it will not move up and down i am just able to rotate it back and fourth the 8th of an inch, is this slight play normal? or do i possibly have some worn bearings here? thanks

Thats a bit much check the upper main bearing

thanks for the reply laddies, is any play permittable? or should the flywheel always not be able to move by hand?

It should be .008 to .012
