I have read sevaeral posts on removing flywheels and have done so a few times on my motor by just removing the 8 bolts because until now that was all I needed to do for what I needed it pulled for. I have don that again but this time realized that I also needed to pull the center hub of the flywheel as well to get under that to remove the upper end cap that I need to replace.
My QUESTION
Any GOOD advice on removing it without the flywheel puller- It is on there good and doesn't wnt to budge- I have gone o the auto parts store and used a harmonic puller w no luck. I want to order the puller but really want to get the job done now rather wait a week for it in the mail for a 2 minute job, although It will probably come down to ordering it(for a one time use I'd rather not since I am a poor college student).
THANKS EVERYONE!!!
