flywheel magnets

i have a 35 hp 1985 merc ob ./with a cracked magnet in flywheel! do i just glue it back? replace flywheel$$$ or glue in 1 or 2? new magnets? any ideas on how it got cracked would be appreciated.i did tow the boat. 75 miles, in up position. for the 4th of July fishing trip . is placement in flywheel critical? or do they just have to be 180 degrees from @ other . tx in advance for your help! ps what type of adhesive?

A unbroken magnet may be reglued with epoxy but a broken one loses its ability to generate the proper voltage for 1 cyl.
