That should come off fairly easy. You do want a good amount of pressure on the center spindle. Have a good size screwdriver, or object of your choice, and pry up somewhat on the outer edge of the flywheel...... then give that center spindle a good whack, not a tap. That'll do it.

What do I pry against?

Pry against some area of the powerhead. It doesn't need to be a heavy leverage type pry, just enough to raise the crankshaft play up.

Don't be timid. Crank that puller down as much as you dare, pry it upward lightly, and give it a whack. It will come off with a pop.

I used an electric Impact wrench on my puller and adjusted the settings so it was still turning but not to fast and it just kept turning till finally it went POP! and it came off, I've done it this way 6 times and no problems. Make sure when ya put it back on that you torque the flywheel down to spec.
