Hey Guys,

I need to replace the regulator/rectifier on my 1990 90 hp Johnson...it looks like I need to remove the flywheel to do so. Can I use an automotive Flywheel puller for this...(I need to buy one)?

Is this difficult to accomplish (removing the flywheel)? Anything I need to look out for?

Thanks for you help!

Re: Flywheel/Regulator/Rectifier...

to remove the flywheel you need a harmonic balancer puller, #8 harden bolt and washer. standard bolts will strip out in the flywheel.
