if its a magnet problem i beleive you can still buy each magnet and glue packs.they are in the dealer parts +acc catolog.

Several of the teeth on the flywheel are nicked and a couple are missing. Happened because the lower unit broke a tooth on a gear. If I could just get the starter ring without the mags the mechanic I use can reglue the mags from my flywheel.
