Foam for 68 55hp Johnson

On to another task for this motor - the foam in the engine cover. Anyone have experience with finding replacement foam? Any replacement kit available by chance (for this year or a suitable substitute)??

Try sea-way.com in Seattle WA for OEM replacement.
Ask for #314293 and #314294.

3M 847 is good for holding it in place. They sell that as well.

Is there anything special about the foam used by the OEM vs. perhaps something I could buy at the hardware store? Fire retardant perhaps?
