I had to remove the foam insulation that is glued to the inside of the motor cover today. It was in very poor condition and was starting to get brittle and come off in chunks and even powdery pieces. I got it all out and washed it clean with a pressure washer.
Anyone else have a similar problem and what did you use to put back in it's place? Or did you even bother putting it back on? I know it will be a little louder, but is there any other purpose for it?
