I am new to this boat, a Duckworth Navigator. It has a 42 gallon tank capacity with the hose for loading up at the front of the boat. Last time I fueled the gas foamed out of the tube. Why? I have never seen this in any car. Is it the length of the tube? Is there a product that reduces foam? I have no idea if the tank is full.

Re: Foaming fuel

Check to be sure vent is clear. Many boats have the problem of taking forever to fill up cuz of the venting of the fuel tank.

Really you have Duckworth Navigator? i love it. I had it once and yes i was facing the same problem. But i assumed it will take all the fuel if i gave so i set my limit. so as for you...

Bostonfishing: What do you mean by "i assumed it will take all the fuel if i gave so i set my limit". Did you ever know if you filled the tank? What do you mean by "your limit"?

Means, he never filled it I think.. Assumed the tank was bigger than his fuel needs.
