I think I may of done something without proper research. I was winterizing engine with kit (5 gallon bottle, muffs, -100 antifreez) New set of muffs, the best I could buy. They did not make a good seal around intake. The sea water pump froze up .I stopped engine pulled pump for rebuild. I drained all 4 plugs on engine. I disconnected circulating pump hose from thermostat. I filled engine from bottle about 3.5 gallons until it backed up in hose. I then disconnected hose for output from seawater pump at the thermostat filled with antifreeze till it ran from hose disconnected from sea water pump. I then opened throttle and sprayed down throttle body while cranking engine with coil wire disconnected. I guess my question would be: I have a 5.7liter fuel injected Mercruiser I saw one thread that stated that doing this would cause problems with MAP. Did I create another set of problems by fogging engine this way. This was a bad weekend. Thank you in advance for your time.
