No way of telling as I dont have the equipment to do it. Sorry and thanks for trying. The boat was a 1974 w/out a tachometer. Only a speedo, I have installed an electrical gas gauge, replaceing the mechanical one. The boat and motor combo, I have found out calls for a 17" prop. This is what I have on it right now. The prop is old and has been worked to death. It now has a stress crack started. The blades have considerablly less surface area than a new one. As I will be replacing with a new SS very soon. However I drilled 3, 1/8th" holes in the prop housing just in behind the leading edge of the blades. I took it out for a whirl and to my suprize the rpm's went up in the hole shot considerably. Got out a bit sooner than usual, on the bad side I lost about 1 or 2 mph's. Thats ok with me. But can't wait to see the new SS prop in action. Thanks everyone for all the great info.
