Foot ? on

ok so after my spent 2200 on my gears. Boat runs great but i hit a rock on a low spot and took a chunk out of my lower unit. boat still runs great but i lost about 7 mph off my top end and am kicking up a funny tail when on plain.. my ? is should i fix it or not? and if yes is there an easy quick fix or do i buy a hole new case?

cheap quick fix...you could try putting one of those hydrofoils on and see if that helps.

Other than that, your looking at a new case.

Ouch!

Take it to a prop shop. They should be able to repair it at a reasonable cost.
