I need help removing a 'Universal joint assembly' part no. 60857A2<br /><br />See http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show...br=481&bnbr=12&bdesc=STEERING+HANDLE+ASSEMBLY <br /><br />I've tried everything to remove it and can't see any attachment point. Can someone give me guidence as to how to remove this thing!! <br /><br />Thanks to the very helpful admin that moved this topic to the Mercruiser Forum. I know they say that it's the thought that counts, but this topic is actually about a '85 Mercury 20hp outboard. The charts for most outboards are on a mercruiser site

Excellent site, with great diagrams but unfortunately my motor is old and different to that describe in the manual.<br /><br />I've a Mercury '85 20hp.<br /><br />Any other suggestions?
