Well Kenny we finally got rid of the ice, so I got around to figuring out my boat. You suggested I raise the motor on my 1991 90 horse Johnny on a 16 foot lund tyee II, and I did. She was running about 4800 RPMs at full throttle planned now she is running about 5200-5300 full out planned and about 40mph. I am thinking I can live with that. Now back to which stainless I need to buy, Im not worried about price although a couple of options would be good. Current prop is 13 1/4 x 17 I would like to maintain the speed Im getting if not faster, hole shot is not a huge deal I would like to pop the kids up on skiis though. I also need it to go as slow as possible when we are trolling. Thats about it, we are running big Montana Missouri river resevoirs, in sometimes impressive chop (not sure that matters). Forgot to tell you I am running a hydrofin right now, I will be taking it off and going to tabs.
