YYZED That bridge right at 1:30 was a mistake on the drums......Its not supposed to be there but when I got the final draft on the drums he hads forgot to pull that out. I waited forever to get the drums from the guys so I just put that guitar part over it to get through it. These are just demos right now and the final recording wont have that in there.Solo will be starting there instead.

Well Im 37. So when I got into music it was in the 80s so the Scorps are an influence for sure. Funny thing is Im not sure who my biggest influences are just that I have many.

As a guitar teacher one of the things I tell my students is that to take part of an artists style and add it to your style is not stealing. As a matter of fact fact ask any guitar master and they will tell you they have their own heros that influenced them.

Mrs. QC was close high school friends with Herman the drummers 1st wife. Divorced now, she's a heroin addict. Not that this is good, but she had a Penthouse layout the whole deal (Tammy, not Mrs. QC  ). Big flippin' waste, disaster, slut chick now . . .

My two cents. It was good but sounded like a movie sound track. Kinda like a car chase. When i closed my eyes i could imagine some one slamming gears and the shake of the car.

Re: For those into Hard Rock Part II

Thanx for checking them out guys and your opinions mean alot to me. There will be many changes for the songs once I start to add new musicians and I just just got a new drum track for Epic that is much better structure wise than the first. The only problem is I will have to re-record all the guitar, but there was some problem area that needed changing.

Re: For those into Hard Rock Part II

Sounds good. So far, I have only listened to Epic, but will listen to the others later. Nice guitar work. The only advice/opinion I have is that mainly the bass, and to some extent the drum work, is played a little too straight. you may want to try mixing it up a bit with the drums and I would put a little more...melody (for lack of a better word) and runs with the bass. I think this would make it a little more rounded. Right now it has the makings of a good hard rock song, but I would avoid the "straight 8th notes" dominating the bass. To my ear, the straight 8's make it sound a bit dated in an otherwise good song.
This is my opinion and my opinion only. Take it for what it's worth, as I have no connection to the music business. I can only speak for what is pleasing to my ear.
