I am suffering from the usual PW big business support. Who wrote about the 70 year cycle concept, who came up with this? Scientists who's research might have been supported by BIG LUMBER? MMMMMMMMMMMM..................

I heard the GW Bush has friends whose homes are made of, you guess it, WOOD. After Katrina, the price of lumber went way up. Where is congress to investigate these friends of GW, BIG LUMBER?

Besides, what kind of responsible company would allow its employee's to ride around in 4x4's. Some might call them SUV's. And we all know SUV's are satans chariots.

Anyone else find this to be rediculous? Well this is what I hear everytime the price of oil goes up.

PW could ride a moped, or walk or the company could hire hundreds of people to do the job of one. Or they could buy PW a truck. The law of unintended consequences is the legacy of the liberals. And taking a failure like ALGORE and using his psychotic ramblings as some kind of policy direction would be retarded. All of these posts and I am yet to be persuaded that this trend in warming has been influenced by humans to any measurable amount. Fixin something that ain't broke, another liberal legacy.

for a real tree a 70-90 year growth cycle is nessasary, for pulkpwood and other non construction use the hybrid type 20 year trees work well.
but so far since the DDT ban many other much better skeeter control chemicals and methods have been introduced.
only the backarse rednecks and 3rd worlders dont wish to use them.
but I say lift ALL EPA regulations, totally disband the EPA and lets get on with cheap gas.
sewage systems? who needs them. we have maybe three on the entire outer banks and they are very small and 2 of the for private subdivisions, however when I was young we never had sewage alge in the creeks year round, we do now.
aint now way no how I would ever eat a fish caught in this area.
kinda like eating fish out of lake michigan in the 80's when your looking at signs telling you not to eat more than one serving a month.
who needs smoke stack laws for power,oil and industry stacks? we dont have any in my area so no laws are needed it just makes my energy and plastics that much more expensive.
and we all know how to catch fish in the Kennebec river in maine, especially in the Topsham area.
heck just last year they said you could eat clams and oysters in the elizebeth river in the Norfolk Va area,if you allowed them to filter in clean water for 30 days.
and we all knoiw how good them Kepone fishes tasted in the James river up near surry county VA, in fact I think they will finnish lifting some of the bans on eating/harvesting marine life in that area next year, was closed in the 80's.
so I am with pointer and the rest, shoot the tree huggers and give me cheap energy and chemicals.

actually quite a few, none ever threatened our coast so they were ignored.
thats the good news
I dont believe nor disbelive in the actual global warming.
but not only have I lived on the coast all my life I have seen first hand what overharvesting,pollution and a combination of the 2 do to a local environment.
when I was a kid fishing the ditches here 5 pound catfish were normal, 50 bluegills on a cane pole was a decent day not anything to get excited about.
catching 15 or 20 puppy drum drifting some shrimp was easy.
a 5 pound flounder would have been a throwback as its kinda small.
we could catch a bushel of hardcrab with a net and a chicken neck on a string.
knock off a limit of ducks before work
its all gone now.
I havent seen a legal size puppy drum in the currituck sound in 2 years.
a 5 pound flounder makes the paper.
aint no ducks left
crabs have gone to not worth fishing for.
the striped bass I have caught this year are so poor as to be not worth cleaning.
aint seen a 5 pound catfish in this area in 10 years.
its all been over pressured with not only pollution runoff but over harvesting.
thats why I sold out an am otta here.
this place sux put the tourons love it.
so disband the EPA and all other environmental regulations and give me cheap products.
dont need any regulations. once this place is sterile we can keep heading south.

wow you can tell pointer is a rehub, he cant even figgue out the topic, first he bust my chops about getting off topic then tries to label me as less than patriotic cause I am gonna move out conus, take a job teaching under priveledged,oh the class costs me 22K out of pocket, try to help some local under priviledged while living in a climate that my body can deal with. in the mean time I will be an ambassador for the rest of us unbiased americans. showing with attention and hands on assistance, rather than a stick and an assult rifle, what americans actually are.
americans in venezela are very well liked regaurdless of pointer,wheezy shrub and chavez.
pointer, I spend 4 months or so a year down there helping, been involved with Drs without borders and operation smile and a few other minor assistance programs.

if ya ever come to caracas I will have you a place to stay and a local guide but I think your nuts are to shriveled to actually do something.

the folks have no money but they are far from poor.
the people there are incredible, the horseman that still work the ranchs are incredible, the people are incredibly friendly.

over baggage wieight on delta is 50 bucks, your alloowed to checked at 50 pounds, extra baggage is 100 bucks.
this year I will have 3 bags at 70 pounds each loaded with base ball glove, fishing stuff, slippers. pencils, dreawing supplies and other stuff yall would not belive.

Clearly you have outlined what have to be real challenges right there in your own backyard. Or you can run down and have those people pat you on the head and tell you what a wonderful and giving American you are. You can always point to some kind of superiority based on frequent flyer miles. (If they don't believe you make sure to carry your visa at all times) Or is facing the issues at home might be a bit too challenging for you? Some of these people have educations equal to yours and have differing points of view. I laugh at you as you have NO CLUE as to my background what motivates me or my committment to others. Thanks for your moral chest pounding. But don't for a moment think that you have the corner on rightousness based on your choice of vacation spots.
