I just got my boat back from the shop today and they told me my #1 cylinder is very weak due to bad rings or piston from over heating. I get it home and I pull it apart and the head gasket has a chunk of it blown away on the #1 cylinder, go figure! The pistons and rings look fine! The boat shop charged me $100 to tell me I need to spend $1900 to fix my boat. I think I'll be buying a 40 dollar head gasket and be on my way. However I have a few questions for any of you Force guys out there. Anything I should know before I slap a new head gasket on there? I know I need to get the torque specs for the bolts but do I need an gasket sealer as well? Anything else I should do while I got the head off? Thanks for your help guys.

Joey
