I was searching around for a how to change the lower unit oil on my motor but none were very clear. I have found the vent and fill screws but I hear of a dreaded shift pin screw and I am unsure where it is and where the actual lower unit oil drain screw is. Also where do I get the seals for these screws or would loc tite work? How much oil will I need to do this? Thank you in advance or your input.

The drain and fill screw heads are roughly the size of a dime and usually have slotted heads and are located more to the rear of the lower unit. The pivot screw is located towards the front and has a smaller head. The lower unit usually takes less then a quart of lower unit oil. The gaskets for the drain and fill are hard like plastic and can be purchased from a mercury dealer for about 50 cents each.

You should get yourself a manual. Here is a link. force manual

A manual will teach you the things you need to know about your motor and also help you describe problems here so people can help you. Please post your model number. Force made many models that are similar in alot of ways and different in others. With the model number someone can help you with finding parts.

Goodluck and welcome to Iboats.

Some Force 120 lower units will have a very small screw in the front of the torpedo with an allen head for a drain.
