Re: Force 125 no fire

From your description it seems the starter motor cranked the outboard motor slowly or too slowly to fire up. Am I right?

Just dont forget the good ole kill switch, happened to me once, I didnt have the right laniard so I rigged it to push the button in and really got fooled, the button has to be depressed quite a ways, or maybe its bad?

Re: Force 125 no fire

Lot's of things could result in a "cranks/no fire" situtation. If you could determine if it's no spark or no fuel that's causing it not to run would be a good place to start. You say the engine "tried" to turn over. Did it crank normally or slowly, as if battery was low? Something easy to check would be to ensure the "kill switch" (if so equipped)is in the "run" position. Good luck!
