First of all, thnaks to all of you who have helped me over the last year to feel confident about boating.
Here's my question: I can cruise my boat at about 20 mph all day long. I can even go above 30 mph, but if I stay above 30 for more than five or ten minutes, it really wants to die. I can feel it starving and surging. So I take it down to Iidle, and it still sounds like it's starving, so I finnesse the throttle to give it more gas and keep it from dying. After about five minutes, I can get going again, and cruise on home, frustrated. Simultaneous to the "starving", the fuel guage is erratic. So I know it's an electrical problem. How do I find the problem?

Thanks.
