Welcome to iboats!

I've never heard of it either. Where did you see/hear of it?

Regardless of the HP rating, it's an idea that was never properly executed, and is to be avoided.

No such animal. If it's one for sale, the seller has simply made a mistake. 120hp would be the norm....or 90hp.
Regardless as NYbo said, these units are definitely for avoiding. They were a bit of a mechanical experiment between 2 stroke powerheads, an integrated through hull connection and then an outboard leg.
If you can avoid this one, do so...you won't regret it.;)
My two bits.

PLEASE DON'T BUY IT!! I just sold mine and bought a Bayliner Ciera. It was the best move I made mechanically! I had a 120 L Drive and the parts that I replaced weren't so bad to find or weren't too expensive, but I did all ignition stuff. I would hate to have to find something in the outdrive! My mechanic said he had never seen one or heard of one before...and he used to work for a big name boat dealer here in KY.

Just to be sure you don't miss it.
If you are considering buying it - DON'T!

There are no parts and I hear most mechanics need a drink, a shower and a shoulder to cry on if they do work on one.

Helldrive was a Frankenstein experiment you should avoid.
Take us seriously or you will regret it.
Or....if it's already on a boat you're buying - get the price down to a level where you would buy it with no engine.

Re: Force 130 HP L-drive ?

Hey guys i myself Owen a 1990 120hp L-Drive bayliner open bow 20 footer. We love the boat, it is very roomy and we have a lot of fun on it. we pull tubes, swim, and fish off it. The only problem i have had with it is the exhaust boot burning up several time after i owned it for a year. The engine actually runs great, never had a problem with it. In august i had new water pump and thermostat put on, i think that took care of the problem with the boot, i can only hope. but remember! it is a boat.;)
