Force 35hp year/ parts??

I have a force 35hp model 357F7B serial 1034 with a bad/missing parts lower unit. The bottom assembly of lower unit was damaged and parts lost, will a Mercury unit fit this model. I got this motor in a trade from trade from a person I trust,and it was pretty much given to me he just lost intrest in locating parts.

try ebay for lower units, different hp's used the same lower unit, someone here will know and tell you what lowers will work with you 35. there is a 40hp a 50hp and a 55hp on ebay now, do a search for force lower units, hopefull someone will chime in as to which hp units will work with yours.

Yep, 40 and 50 hp units from 1984-1994, should fit.

Thanks for the help. On the years that will fit and age of my motor. Mercury lower unit will not fit mine?? Also who has the best manual/documentation for my motor.
