Re: FORCE 50 carb

The book says "parallel to the body flange"... Hovever, my Force 50HP will ralph fuel all over the place when set to this spec!
This is with a new needle. It obviously has something to do with my particular carb (float riding lower, needle seat hieght in the port, ect).
But with the engine trimmed all the way down, eyeball the carb with it's level, and manually operate float,to make sure it pushes the needle to the seat without overflow. This is the way I had to do it.
And it works cherry.
I hope this helps.

Re: FORCE 50 carb

Turn carb upside down and level. Float should be level with gasket surface. Inportant to have correct needle for carb. One needle has rubber tip. Other needle is all metal with rubber seal in carb body for seat.
