I have an '85 50 hp Force on a 14' bowrider. I trailer the boat to the local lakes for fishing and my wife (well, to be honest, me also) are getting tired of manually trimming and tilting the motor.

I am hoping to tap the knowledge of the forum members for recommendations on a relatively affordable and easy to install power tilt/trim system that would work with this motor. By the way, I haven't seen any mention in the forum of an OEM tilt/trim for the 50 hp Force, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Any advice or recommendations are appreciated.

There inst an affordable one. When I had my manual trim Johnny I looked in to a power setup. If I remember right it was about 700.00. It is basically a jack plate that has a trim cylinder in it. It gives you some set back also.

It was out of my budget.
