Force 75 hp

Son hit something while out with family, and chipped propeller. He had a hard time getting it to Idle to get it to chang gears to get in. I had prop repaired and now we can't get it to idle. NEED HElp <br />1st. How do we set the idle up so we can get it in gear to get it to trailor? I need to get over to be serviced.<br />2nd. What would have happen by him hittng something? Could this have damaged something else,like timing. It starts good, just want Idle...

Will motor idle in neutral or only crap out in gear? Put shifter in neutral with motor off and see if the prop spins freely in both directions by hand. If timing is off could be a sheared flywheel key.

Year 96<br /><br />Motor dies when ever I bring the control down into neutral...Prop work good in neutral....It starts good when ever I start it..I tried to adjust the idle but didn't work, of course I really not sure on how to adjust it....Do have any idea on how I might get it idled up to get it on trailor...getting ready to take out for winter...will have it serviced then.....Thanks alot....
