I have a 1984 85hp Force, Runs good, until this last week-end. <br />1. With 5 people in the boat (bayliner 16') I can run the motor up to 4500 RPM and everything is cool. <br />I did this for about 10min. I then put one of the kids in the water for some fun and after about 3-5min running at 3200 RPM the motor dropped to 2000 RPM.<br />After letting the motor set for just a few min. It started to run the way it should, put the kid back in the water and it happen once more.<br /><br />Gas is good, bulb is hard, no leaks that I can find.<br /><br />Next day tried once more and the problem is gone, ran motor 4.5 hours streight pulling 12 kids and the damm motor did'nt skip a beat.<br /><br />Anyone have any ideal what happen? like to know just in case it shows up the next time I take it out.
