does anybody know if i can get a replacement union for the hydraulic tilt ram instead of having to replace the whole ram which is working perfectly.age of engine i believe is 1986.

If you are speaking of the fitting and stainless steel band at the top of the tilt cylinder, the last one I had cost 40.00 US. The female side of the fitting is an inverted flare, same as a automotive brake line. Some automotive master cylinders use almost the same fitting as an adapter,but I havent tried to find one at an automotive store.

suenbilly, assuming you mean the fitting that goes into the stainless steel strap, take the old fitting to a hydraulic hose/pump repair shop, they matched mine with a brake line fitting, cost $10. You will have to bend the line a bit to get it to line up since the new fitting is a bit longer, but it works.
