I HAVE A 97 FORCE 75HP WITH A OIL LEAK AROUND <br />THE PROPELLER. HAVING PROBLEMS SEPERATING<br />LOWER UNIT. ANY INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOVAL OF <br />THIS SEAL ASSEMBLY WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
Hi Rongld,<br /> I'm not too familiar with the Force that you have, but I believe that all you will have to do is pull the rear bearing carrier(behind the prop). Remove the outter seals and re-install, you won't have to drop the lower unit for this.<br />Hope this helps
you were correct, i had tried this before, but <br />was having some problems pulling out,however<br />today i tried again successufully.<br /><br />thanks so much for input<br />ronald whitman
