Force Lower Unit Lube

I want to replace the lower unit lube on my '96 40 hp Force. I changed the lube myself a couple of years ago and wanted to be sure I will be doing it correctly again. Facing the motor from the back, there are (2) screws on the right. (1) is located lower and near the prop. The other is located higher and labeled "Vent". Is the lower screw on the right where I drain and fill from??<br />Also, I have O-rings from the first time I did this. Would these o-rings still be good??

Hi, Shifty.<br /><br />To drain it you remove both plugs.<br /><br />Fill into the bottom hole until it overflows the top hole. Replace the top plug, then the lower plug.<br /><br />Use new gaskets (O-rings).<br /><br />Good luck.
