I have a 1991 MaXum 21 ft with a 120 HP Force L-drive<br />as I was going over the boat one last time before hauling it to the<br />water, I discovered a broken U-bolt. This bolt is located (standing<br />aft of the boat, looking toward the bow) on the port side of the motor<br />around the bushing where the outdrive connects to the motor.<br />From what I can see from the manual, it for the mostpart is enclosed in<br /><br />the cast part of the case that extends down<br />for those of you who know<br />How important is this part, what's it's purpose??<br />I am going through H2O withdrawl, really need to get on the water and<br />get my sanity back, it's been a looooooooong winter
