Anymore just about everyones life depends on a Ford since about 90% of all ambulances are Fords. Cops prefer Ford Crown Victoria's because of their room for their gunbelt plus it is the only one that will out run the Mercedes. Did you know that the Crown Victoria's that are produced for the police are set up that way on the assembly line, they are not taken off a lot and converted as the Chevys are. I have a Chevy in my boat, so I shouldn't complain..
Down here in this part of the globe, GMC have Holden instead of Chevy, so the big race is the V8 Ford Falcon vs V8 Holden Commodore at Bathurst. Always fun to watch.

OzFords Website

From a racing point of view, General Motor's can't be beat.
1)Most parts are interchangeable from year to year.
2)Readily available parts in junk yard. Makes a great throw away motor.
By the way I do own a Buick and have owned numerous Chevy's, but I like by 84 Ranger V6 with 294 hp at the wheels and my new tow vehicle 1981 F150 351 pushing 425. Sorry gettin side tracked here but oh well.
As far as I am concerned, GM is a looser for going to FWD for all thier cars (Except for the Corvette).

Rear Wheel Drive is the best and only way to go. LONG LIVE RWD!!!!!
Back in high school I had a 1993 Mercury Cougar w/ a 5.0.

C-Can't
O-Offer
U-Ugly
G-Girls
A-A
R-Ride

A buddy of mine thought of that...pretty creative.
