Member @Jakem has a 1975 Ford 289 with closed cooling. The short of the story is its not plumbed like it should and does not have a bypass hole in the thermostat housing. Without the bypass there is not enough flow.

Need a housing that will fit a Ford SB intake, have at least 3 ports (1coolant in, 2 coolant out to manifolds) and a bypass port
@Scott Danforth

I'm looking at the 351 and most things are NLA. Wonder if a GM will fit
This is the one used for open cooling but would need to close off a port or two

GM wont fit.

most likely will need to fabricate.

the cooling system was probably manufactured by Monitor Products in the 70's notice the plethora of copper fittings and brazed bits.

also, looks like the system has been modified to a full system

Post a pick please. I have some old housings and my boat originally had a 351 Windsor.
