ford parts in my yamaha f200txr

I have been slowly rebuilding my f200txr that i purchased off ebay. Over all I could only find new oem factory parts for this motor since I have started rebuilding it. Also Couldn't find any used parts either. Wow, yamaha has a hold on us. We I had to replace the rod. And on the rod is marked ford. LOL..

just thought I would share.

look on the camshfts too.
Ford makes a lot of stuff for yamaha and yamaha makes a bunch for ford. but mostly in over seas plants.
its really not uncomon.
at one time the 25hp rods were made in lexington KY.

If memory is correct, Yamaha used to make the engine for the early Ford Taurus SHO.

and yami makes some volvo parts now
