Re: Ford Raptor jumps 90 feet

Raptor runs the same frame as a regular F-150 with the exception of the rear shock mounts. The Raptor has a stronger front axle and a suspension lift. F-150 with a simmilar suspension lift would have fared the same

they run the same frame. they don't have a 'suspension lift'. and they don't have a front 'axle'. they're IFS with Fox 2.0 Coilovers, and huge lower a-arms. the a arms, and rear diff widen the truck, and with the extra length you get way more travel. the truck, due to its design, sits ~3" higher than a comparable f series.
the rear is running remote reservoir foxs again, and have progressive bump stops. Looking at the truck in 'after' pics, she's still sitting at ride height all around...

these trucks are capable of a lot. i've gotten a few feet of air and it doesn't feel like it....but to attempt to blast over this hill at the speed he did....well....he should just give me his truck for parts. :(

I knew it was only a modification to the suspension travel and not really a lift kit. GM did the same thing with the ZR2 S10's and S10 Blazers. As far as front axle I meant they run a stronger differential up front
