Please pray for me!!!! Yesterday was me and the wifes anniversary and it slipped my mind and hers. So I do know one thing is that I willl get the brunt of our oversight so to say the bad thing is we have forgotten it for the last 3 yrs and it's not intensional by both parts. But like I said I- boat brothers please pray for me and if you don't see me bacck on here it will be because I'm not with us anymore!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it's Saturday and if in Ohio the weather is like here then it is not a boating day. Surprise her with a nice card with a personal message, dinner and a movie tonight or similar. Tell her you saved it for the weekend !!!!!

I feel your pain My last marriage, I forgot our 2nd anniversary. After our 10th, she still brought up about forgetting the 2nd. That is why she is now an "X"

Gosh. I was married for 28 years and have been divorced for 27, but I still send the Love Of My Life flowers on the anniversary of our wedding.

Ummm. No, not still. I resumed doing that after her second husband passed away about 6 years ago.

Guess I am the proverbial hopeless romantic and you aren't.

So what? She forgot also. I don't see that it is a big deal.

All I remember is we got married on the september long weekend, you don't need to know the date if your celebrating all weekend.

Don't ask her . . . just bring back to the car one of their 39 cent ice cream cones that are on special this week (this can be the part that shows her you realy care ).

Been married less than a year, and the other day we were talking about getting away for a weekend.

SHE said, " Well, we do have our anniversary coming up."

My mother replied, " When is it?"

SHE looked at me all dumbfounded and confused, then slowly eeked out, "Julieee .........?"

She couldn't remember! And it's our first!

I've lucked out. Our anniversary is December 23, and her Bday is January 4th. Within a couple of weeks I have anniversary, Christmas, and birthday covered!

BTW- my wife and I have to figure out how long we have been married every time somebody asks. We look at each other and start tracking back in time and events together, and then respond. (Might have something to do with being together 24 years, but married only 10.) Boy, do we get the looks!:redface:

My wife and I both also forgot last year , We laughed and chalked it up to how happy we still are. Belated dinner where we met and the rest of the stuff was even more special.

I usually tell the mrs Happy Anniversary and do something special during the week (dinner,movie etc) but this year is number 30 so I guess I better get a card

Wow! guys thanx for the input but as most have said she forgot to we planned our wedding to coinside with her parents who have both passed since as not to forget but my memory isn't what it once was especially lately. Today I have been keeping my distance doing over due honey do list but as we speak I made her her favorite (margarita) and she's kinda content for the moment. As funny as it may sound we have only been married 6 yrs and have been together since 1980 she's my high school sweetheart and to be honest the only girl now woman I have ever been interested in period she's my best friend and my worst (sometime) but I would truthfully say I would give my life for her she has given me the best things in life my 3 children. But and this is a big butt she forgot to and the nagging isn't as bad. thanx for the replies guys but never the less I will come up with something to remind me maybe put it in my signature here on I - boats because I visit here @ least twice a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
