Formica countertop help

My daughter has a deep burn spot on her Formica countertop. My Mom and Dad had the same thing. MY Dad went somewhere and bought (I call it an inlay). It was a kit thing; had a metal ring around it; and the center was tempered glass. It came with a template; pencil it in; drill a hole in each corner; cut CT out and and the inlay covered the hole. 30 minute fix. Anyone seen one of these?

I have used these before.

They used to be common from the factory on higher end mobile homes.

Mr. MT; that is exactly what I remember! The one my Dad got was smaller; but otherwise it is the same. A little pricey; but you it beats a new countertop. Thanks for the help! I pass on the the info to her; and will post any updates. Thanks to all. The forum came through again..
