Hi, I recently bought a 74 formula 233 with a soft spot on each corner of the floor near the transom. I cut the deck roughly 4 ft from the transom and straight across the beam of the boat. I was able to remove the non skid surface in one piece with the intent of putting it back down after the wood was replaced. Its kinda straight forward with the exception of joining the two sides of the deck back down to meet original. I left about 4" in from either side as it was in great shape. My question is ...should I build a frame to support both the new and old piece or is there another way. All of the other side set on stringers. Any feedback will be great Thanx Don
