Re: Forums

Welcome to the iboats forum. How 'bout right here. This area is where we talk about non boating issues. Even though this is primarily a boat site, members will give their best shot at answering other questions.

Re: Forums

Ok,Ill give it a shot. I have a 90 mazda b2600 truck that i use only for driving back and forth to work. The problem that im having is whenever its damp outside,or raining,it sounds like its running on 3 cylinders. I gave it a tuneup,"cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter" and im still getting the same problem. Another thing i wanna add is that the truck sat for maybe a year in my garage before i decided to drive it. Any help is very appreciated.

Re: Forums

welcome aboard R, my dad had a mazda with the same problem and it was a problem with moisture getting into the dist. cap. Next time it does it pop the cap off and see if it is wet inside. Mazda ended up putting a rubber boot on his.

This rubber boot you are talking about. You believe I can purchase one of the boots at a local maxda dealer or parts store?

Re: Forums

Well,I checked with my local mazda dealer and they dont sell anything like it. I also went to my local parts store and they dont sell them either. But he told me to check with a toyota dealer because he said his truck has one on.So hopefully they will have something for me. Thanks for your help. I really apreciate it.
