Re: forward no reverse
The shift linkage need's ajustment, do you have a manual, as it is rather hard to explain without photo's. As a quick check half way down the exhaust housing , there is an oblong plate about 2-21/2' long . Under this plate, there is a brass connector with 2 bolts, The upper, and lower steel shift rods have a notch at the end held by this connector, see id it has slipped, or come apart.
