Yep. TONS of $1 Sandy remnant boats on Ebay down in the NY/NJ region. Problem for me is, they all have no trailers, and my only trailer is blown apart for repair/ paint and it's only rated for 750lbs/ 16' anyway. There is a nice 1990 Cobalt only a couple hours away. 19' bowrider at a marina, needs floors/ stringers but has a 4.3L/ Mercruiser Alpha and is a running boat going dirt cheap just No trailer. It's at a marina/ dealership and was probably a trade in.. I should probably invest in a decent trailer and then start looking. Probably get a better boat that way I think

a couple of 6x6 boards some junk tires and a car hauler will handle a small boat too.....

But YEP get a trailer first... I have a 25' full roller that I refuse to sell just because I can pick up anything up right off the ground...

BTW I gave $175 for that trailer and a 25' regal... I literally couldn't salvage one single part off of the regal so off to the dump... cost $35 so I had $210 in the trailer.. bought 4 new fenders and need a couple new rollers... should have about $400 in it when done but it'll be worth much more than that.

Is this boat worth anything? It looks interesting, tho the choice way of engine removal ( sawsall ) is a deterrent.

That's not a $500 boat, it's a free boat ... the big hole in the back is kinda' a drawback to it's value.

Lol I know it's not worth $500. Didn't actually plan on spending anything or very little. Possibly a couple hundred at best as the trailer looks pretty cool, but the hull also looks in good shape except for the big hole.. I figured once it doesn’t sell, I might shoot the owner an offer, but I don't know anything about that hull other than it looks cool. I quickly looked up International Yacht and boat and what I found was it is possibly a custom boat, but they mostly built sailboats if it's the same company

The boat is very cool lookin', and as a project would probably turn out very unique. The hull is interesting and I'd wonder how good a ride it gives - not sure about BIG water though. BUT ... that's a pretty big project. I wouldn't put a dime into acquisition, mainly because you can probably get a kit and build something as unique for about the same price (if you're simply looking for a project).

Well, I've decided to pass on this boat entirely. Carefully inspecting the pictures, I find that the lack of pictures of the port side proof that it is not as nice as it looks. What little bit of the Port side is visible is obviously rougher than starboard and the green is paint, not gelcoat... Helm gauges have also been removed and that too may have been cut out.. I'd have to go 3hrs to check it out, just to see if I could do it cheap enough, but at that point, it actually costs just for the inspection.

Lol, so I decided to just see if this boat relisted, and it did.. The $575 boat that did not sell, is now listed for $625.. Guess even if I did want it, I wouldn't pay the asking price.
