I was given a pretty decent looking 18' Glastron V182 today, I really didn't want another boat, but I got the impression that the former owner was going to just crush it or cut it up. It's sans a motor or trailer, but I was able to load it on on of my older trailers fairly easily. It fit nicely on the trailer from one of my other boats.
Its a pretty light hull, three of us were able to lift and load it buy hand. It's rated at 150HP and the transom looks solid. It had a 135 HP Evinrude on it, but the motor was taken off and used on a fishing boat instead.

If anyone in the NJ area would like a really cool V hull, it would make a great runner as is or could be a really clean ride with some tlc. It's got some cool looking lines and is a fairly deep v hull. It's white with bright green accents.

I took it thinking that I'd part it out on eBay for all it's neat little trim pieces, but I hate to cut up such a solid boat. If I didn't have so many projects started, I'd add this to my fleet here, but I have 6 boats here now, and just no room for another one right now.
It has some really nice lines to the hull and the transom area of these older Glasstrons are so cool looking.

Here's a link to the oem brochure and a pic of the boat, I'll get some better pics once it's light out.

Cool looking boat. If it wasn't a closed bow I'd be taking it off your hands.

I actually like the fact that it's a closed bow, the closed design is better in rough water, it takes on less water over the bow.
I keep saying to myself that I'll cut one into a custom boat, sort of make a bass boat style boat out of the lower hull, just deck over the lowest part of the hull and make a platform to fish off of. A buddy of mine did that to a 20' boat a while back, hung a 50hp on it and it flew. He simply removed the deck, floor, and transom, cut the transom down to about 16", and left enough bow rise to keep it dry at speed. What he ended up with was a super fast, wide, and very light bass boat that pretty much was a completely flat platform to fish from. What I liked was that it was so light and could run in almost no water.

I like how wide this is for an 18' boat, it's just under 7 feet wide. If I didn't have so many already, I'd consider it a keeper and customize the layout for fishing.

eBay is an option, I put it up on Craigslist too. The last two that I listed on eBay ended up with deadbeat bidders.
